Queens Public Library's Bookmobile program takes library service to the streets, bringing books and activities to neighborhoods all across our borough.

Our Mobile Libraries contain books, movies, and magazines. We can also help you sign up for a library card at the Mobile Library.

From senior care homes to community events, we bring the Library to you!

Apply online to schedule a Mobile Library visit in your neighborhood or at your community event.

Please expect a response within 5 business days. Note: We cannot guarantee all requests.

Bookmobiles are the size of a city bus and require appropriate parking accommodations.

A Mindful Journey for Mental Health Awareness: The QPL Mobile Library May Mental Health Tour

Join the QPL Bookmobile team this May for a journey across the borough in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month!

Our Mobile Library Mental Health Tour will promote mental health awareness through the power of music, mindfulness, meditation, and the magic of literature.

You can browse our collection on the Mobile Library (including a dedicated selection of mental health and self-help resources), check out books, request materials for pickup at your local library, sign up for library cards, register for programs, learn about library services, and receive a free gift (while supplies last).

Plus, Ashley Keiko will join us at all our stops on the Mobile Library Mental Health Tour!

Ashley is a talented saxophonist, pianist, singer, and songwriter; the Founder and CEO of Keiko Studios Music Academy; and a long-time friend of QPL! She can't wait to perform for you and talk about the connections between music and mental health.

Book Bike

The Queens Public Library Book Bike is a delightful new addition to our outreach services.

In a city as urban as New York, there are places where our Bookmobile simply cannot fit.

This is where our Book Bike comes in, bringing books, information, and a sense of fun to community events ranging from farmers’ markets to the Queens Pride Parade!
